5. It’s quiet, not a lot of people are around and sound activity is consistent but distant

1- Date, Time, Location: 2/6/26. 7:00pm. Mama Lombardi’s restaurant. Holbrook, NY
2- Far Range– Plates clattering in the kitchen, cutlery clattering into buckets, man yelling in italian, kitchen door being swung open
3- Medium Rage– Jazz music being played, Other tables talking indistinguishably, order being taken from a table, plates being placed onto a table, wooden chairs scraping against the wooden floor, footsteps with different shoes types walking across the floor
4- Close Rage– Fork scraping against plate, Family talking about phone bills, Glasses being picked up and drank from, glasses case being open and closed
5- General sound level– There is a large amount of sound. Constant talking and buzzing of people.
6- One word description– bustling
7- 3 essential sounds-Jazz music being played, Tables talking indistinguishably, forks scraping against plates

2. A refrigerator door closing, chatter from a table on the other side of the room, sounds of cooking utensils and ovens from the kitchen areas.
3. The hum of the drink refrigerators, the soda machine being used, ice being dispensed, someone pulling plastic utensils from the dispenser.
4. My friend collecting her garbage from dinner, a three person conversation to my right, the fan overhead and behind me, the table rocking back and forth and hitting the ground because of its uneven legs.
5. Moderately noisy. Much quieter than Bits usually is during the day. Everything starts to blend together as soon as I stop paying attention and becomes white noise.
6. Bustle.
7. The sound of human voices, a fan humming, kitchen utensils banging together.

- Sound Level/Activity: The sound level is moderate, but constant
- Description: Crowded
- Essential: The music, people talking, chairs moving

2- Furthest Sounds: Cisco phone ringing, people saying “hello this is the residence office, how can i help you?, door slamming.
3- Medium Range: Printer printing, the shredder making a crunching/buzzing noise.
4- Closest Range: Music coming out of a person headphone, someone typing on this keyboard.
5- The general sound level was in the medium. Nothing too loud or too quiet and the sound activity is average/moderate sound activity.
6- Chaos
7- Clicking sounds on the keyboard, shredder making buzzing/crunching sound after putting the paper in, and Cisco phone ringing.

Furthest sounds: the cars driving outside, the siren of the passerby ambulance, the opening and closing of the sliding door to the outside world
Medium sounds: My coworkers conversing, their phone ringing, the persona. few desks away scrolling reels on their phone.
Closest sounds: The phone ringing, the voice of the people talking on said phone, my keyboard clacking, the creaking of my chair
Sound level: medium, nothing is too loud, and it does have it’s moments of silence, but there is always some sound going on and the office phone is loud enough next to me to awake me from my stupors and make me do my job.
One word description: tiring
3 essential sounds: the ringing phone, the voices of the callers, and my coworkers chatting.

Distant Sound:
-Muffled students chanting and yelling, repeating “Yah!” and “What?” over and over again.
-Door to the outside being opened and closed, when it’s opened you can hear wind outside.
-Muffled footsteps upstairs
General Sound:
-A low, quiet and looping whir of the boiler room.
-At times the boiler starts to pitch up, rattling rather than whirring.
Closest Sound:
-A student typing nearby and eating
-Occasional professor speaking to the student.
-Jingle of keys walking past.
