Hofstra Drama 20 – Sound for the Theatre

Location: Walk from Vander Poel lobby to beginning the trip up in the elevator.

Sounds heard: Carpet scuffs, footsteps, people talking, elevator dings, elevator scraping against the walls, buttons being pressed.

Location: Vander Poel elevator, 4/17/18, around 10pm

Sounds Heard: Elevator dinging, pressing buttons, my keys rattling, the door closing, the elevator going up, the door opening

Farthest: Snow being removed outside, wind blowing

Medium: Elevator dinging, the shower in the men’s bathroom running

Closest: My roommate snoring and my neighbor’s god awful and super loud alarm that woke me up and that did NOT need to be so intense on a snow day of all days
