Sounds farthest away from me: cars driving down the street, music playing a few houses down
sounds at medium range: birds chirping outside my window, people walking around the house
sounds closest to me: my fingers tapping the keys on my computer, my stomach growling, my own breathing
The sound level is quiet and the sound activity is consistently low
One word description: peaceful
Essential sounds: Footsteps, cars, birds
3/8/24 – 3:13PM – My room
- Sounds farthest from me: Birds chirping outside
- Sounds at medium range: My footsteps, my housemate singing in the other room
- Sounds closest to me: My breathing, putting things down as I clean my room, the sound of my hangers being moved in my closet
- Sound level: pretty quiet, as usual. The sound activity is more active – things are happening and sound is being created, it just isn’t loud.

5. Sound level is not loud per say, but it is a cacophony of many medium to light volume sounds. It sounds extremely busy, a lot of sounds moving in different directions. A lot of dynamic sounds all at once.
