Farthest – Basketball ball bouncing, car alarm going off, sirens of firetruck

Medium- sirens of the police officers, commercial buildings truck opening up

Closest – people chatting, the smoke alarm going off in the building, music playing

Sound Level – High

Description – Emergency

Essential Sounds – smoke alarm, sirens of firetruck/ police officers, music playing

Date: 4/8/26 at Bits and Bytes (11am)

Furthest: People ordering their food/ picking up their food, cash registers

Medium: Chair scratching the floor by moving it, tables moving, the door opening/ closing

Closest: plugging/unplugging outlets, the sound of writing on the iPad, people talking loudly behind me

Sound Level: Low to Medium Level

Description: Cafeteria

5 Essential Sounds: People talking, chair scratches by moving around, the door opening/closing, moving tables, plugging/unplugging outlets

  1. 3/26/26, 8pm, Hofstra Playhouse
  2. Background: The auditorium, people chatting, footsteps, light music
  3. Middle: the host coming out with microphone, people laughing
  4. Close: people shouting, keys jiggling, then complete silent in the auditorium
  5. The general sound level was medium but bit more on the loud and sound activity is above average and loud.
  6. Madness
  7. People laughing, chatting in the background, and shouting

2- Furthest Sounds: Dryer humming noise in the basement and Cars driving past by the block.
3- Medium Range: TV playing in the living room, kettle whistling, pots and pans slamming
4- Closest Range: Music playing out of my laptop, clicking noise coming out of my keyboard.
5- The general sound level was in the medium. Nothing too loud or too quiet and the sound activity is average/moderate sound activity.
6- Normal
7-Kettle whistling, dryer humming, tv playing

1- 02/19/26-9:00 pm – NorthShore Hospital

2- Furthest Sounds: people typing on their keyboard outside the room, speaker muffling, medical cart with wheels squeaking around high pitch
3- Medium Range: heart monitor beeping, walker scraping on the floor, bathroom door slamming
4- Closest Range: Remote clicking buttons, foot kicking the heater (making a low pitch), people laughing loud
5- The general sound level was in the medium range but a little bit on the higher pitch side of sound.
6- Overwhelming
7- Banging doors, beeping medical machines, speaker muffling outside the room
