Sounds: people talking, loud footsteps, static

  1. Date/time/location: March 29th/ 3:00pm/ financial services in Memorial Hall
  2. Far sounds: typing on the computers, footsteps leaving and entering the room
  3. Closer sounds: hushed murmuring, squeaking of spinning chairs
  4.  Closest sounds: Mackenzie talking to me, her phone playing a video
  5. Sounds level/ amount: Overall kinda quiet. Mackenzie was a bit louder than the other surroundings, as per usual. 🙂

  7. Essential sounds: computer typing, hushed murmuring, and Mackenzie talking to me

Sounds: me working on my latest project, slamming drawers, papers shuffling, music playing in the background

  2. Far sounds: doors slamming in the hall way, voices in the next room over
  3. Closer sounds: laptop playing Africa by Toto, drawers shutting, slicing of the X-acto knife
  4. Closest sounds: me hyperventilating, squeaking of my shoes against the desk
  5. Sound level: mostly quiet, some loud noise here and there
  6. Description: stressful
  7. Essential sounds: voices in the next room, laptop playing music, my rapid breathing

Location: Laundry room of Enterprise Hall

Sounds: Washing machines are whirring and dryers are spinning away

  1. Date/Time/Location: February 28/ 3:30pm/ drounge
  2. Far sounds: doors closing, footsteps coming down the stairs, people talking loudly in the Psybrary
  3. Closer sounds: backpacks moving, people walking in the halls, people conversing around me ion the drounge
  4. Closest sounds: my breathing, knuckles cracking, shoes shuffling
  5. Sound level: Medium loud. The conversation in the drounge can be pretty loud, but for the time of day it wasn’t too bad
  6. Description: hectic
  7. Key sounds: people talking in the psybrary, people talking around me in the drounge, and knuckles cracking

Location: My dorm room Enterprise Hall

Sounds: Typing, Blink-182 playing as I’m working on research for 179

  1. Date, time, & location: February 22, 7:30pm, Lowe 216
  2. Far Sounds: footsteps in the small hallway, office doors closing
  3. Closer sounds: Friends talking about current projects, 216s door opening and closing, desk drawers creaking as they open
  4. Closest Sounds: typing on my laptop, listening to Weezer, flipping through pages in my binder
  5. Sound level: sound level was minimal, when their were voices they were at a normal medium tone, but other than the talking and music it was quiet

  7. Essential Sounds: office doors closing, friends talking about their work, music on my laptop.
