Field Recording five

Location: Outside of C-Square

You will hear my feet walking from the pavements onto the grass to walk on the leaves that were still left over from the fall, then back onto the pavement. The sounds are very distinct in themselves, the pavement is more of a scuffing hard sound while the ground sounded soft under my feet and the leaves crunched as they were crushed.

Journal six

Costume shop: 3/11/2018 5:30PM

Farthest: The washing machines are running in the background, the dryers are tossing the shirts round and round.

Medium: The pushing and pulling of hangers make a sharp squeaking noise as they are moved, and distant conversations that sound like mumbling.

Closest: More conversations about studying abroad and making schedules, footsteps of people walking by me, and the opening and closing of drawers.

The general sound level is at a medium, with the occasional burst of sound from escalating conversations.

Three main sounds: The washer/dryer, the gossip, and the clanging/ screeching of hangers.

Name: Gossip
