Ice Puddle
- Cherry Ln. 2/14/17
- I am stepping on the thin ice that covers puddles in the street. In the beginning, you can here the water splashing out of the cracks. In the end I am walking on the snow back onto the sidewalk.

Night Kitchen
- 2/16/17, 11:18PM, Vander Poel Hall Kitchen
- Farthest-Sounds of laughter from a different room. winds outside, The thud of doors closing different sections of the building, dimmed screech of a police siren or ambulance.
- Medium-Refrigerators running in vending machines, air conditioner, a buzz from the fluorescent lighting
- Closest-Butter sizzling on a heated pan, random clinks from the stove, me biting and chewing toast and scrambled eggs, me typing on the keyboard.
- Level and Activity-Low sound level as in it’s very quiet and any sound emitted can be heard throughout the room, but there’s a moderate amount of sound coming preventing total silence.
- Solitary
- Buzz of vending machines, sizzling butter, Police/ambulance siren.
Running Water
Location: Bathroom in Vander Poel Hall
I put my phone in a Ziploc bag and let water run over it. Fair warning it doesn’t sound as pretty as I thought it would.
