Journal 2: A Quiet Night at Home

Monday 2/6/17- 10:41 pm- my bedroom
Farthest: The faint hum of my dad watching tv in the den, an engine down the street
Medium: A car drives by, my mom watching Planet of the Apes in the next room (very loudly)
Closest: The sound of my keyboard clicking as I type, and the rustle of my sheets as I adjust my sitting position
Medium sound level, little activity
Nighttime
The two tvs going at once, the clicking of my keyboard, the rustle of sheets

Field Recording 1 Jared and Nick

Jared and Nick laugh in the drounge, and then Nick begins to tell a story as I eat cereal.

My living room- February 3rd- 4 PM
Far sounds- washing machine downstairs (buttons on a comforter clicking the sides of the washing machine)
Medium Sounds: 2 of my roommates talking in the other room- voices are muffled so I can’t make out exactly what they’re saying
Close sounds: One of my roommates taking a shower, dyson fan blowing hot air and rotating
Sound level: Low
Environment: Relaxed
