- Farthest: The faint hum of my dad watching tv in the den, an engine down the street
- Medium: A car drives by, my mom watching Planet of the Apes in the next room (very loudly)
- Closest: The sound of my keyboard clicking as I type, and the rustle of my sheets as I adjust my sitting position
- Medium sound level, little activity
- Nighttime
- The two tvs going at once, the clicking of my keyboard, the rustle of sheets
