Journal Entry 4

1-    2/23/11- about 9:15pm- hammer lab

2-    People talking in the room next door, cars driving by outside and outer doors opening and closing.

3-    People having a conversation, typing noises, noise from the printers printing, an annoying beep the swipe machine makes when someone opens the door to come in, the door opening and closing and the sound of rolling chairs moving.

4-    Lots of mouse clicking, the low hums of all the computers, people whispering next to me, a few sniffle sounds and a couple of coughs.

5-    The general sound level is low and the amount of sound activity is minimal

6-    Studious

7-    Typing or mouse clicking noises, low talking or whispering, the hum of a computer fan.

1. Condo in Orlando. 2/23/11 5:00pm
2. Car horn, cars driving past, child laughing, lawn mower
3. Air conditioner running, clock ticking
4. Creak of the couch, me sipping on a juice box, my phone going off.
5. Sound activity and level is low.

1. 4:51 pm, 02/23/11, my room

2. People’s footsteps and voices and doors opening and closing in the hallway

3. The heater rumbling, my roomate listening to “Somebody to Love” and singing along, her typing on the computer

4. My sniffling, my breathing, the chair squeeking

5. The sound level is mostly quiet. There are a lot of different sounds but they’re all at a very low volume, especially as they get closer to me.

7. The song playing, my roomate singing along quietly, the heater rumbling
