Farthest Sounds: trucks, taxis honking, people calling loudly, buses
Medium Sounds: People talking, Chewing food, utensils dropping, Workers taking people’s orders, The drink fountains
Closest Sounds: Me chewing, John Ball taking in my ear, wind(as people open the door to the outside)
Sound Level: Medium, noises outside more chaotic than inside
Description: Lunchtime ( excited)

Location: Tap Class, Calkins 139
Time: 12:45 pm
Far away sounds: The footsteps of people walking down the hallway and into the classroom, people talking and goofing around outside (I can hear this through the window).
Moderately close sounds: Several girls practicing last weeks tap routine on the other side of the studio, the accompanist plucking a few keys here and there in preparation, moderate chatter.
Very close sounds: My tap shoes clunking around on the floor below me as I walk to my water bottle, the crackle of my water bottle, my knees cracking as I bend down, Lizzie and Kat talking to me.
One word description: Rhythmic
Crucial sounds to recreate this atmosphere: Spontaneous tap steps layered on top of one another, classroom chatter.
