  5. Sound level is low, it’s very relaxed

  5. Sound level is high, it’s crowded and there are a lot of people taking a break between classes

the shaking of the chips being shoveled, the chatter of the customers,the doors opening and closing

the man shouting “welcome to moes”, the wild conversations from the people in line, the baby in the windowsill yelling at the phone

2- Farthest- A car driving down the street, people walking out of smash burger, a shuttle driving by, people yelling outside

3- Medium- A door closing, timers going off, people talking at the register, register beeps, a clock ticking, the tv playing

4- Closest- My friends talking next to me, my breathing, grabbing food that I will eat

5- There is not much going on so its pretty tame and quiet

6- Tired

7- The tv playing, doors opening and closing, me grabbing food

1- March 15th-8pm-Mac&Melts

2- Farthest- The cook making food, timers going off, cars driving by outside

3- Medium- music playing, people ordering food, plates being piled and cleaned, a door closing

4- Closest- Lyndsey talking to me, chairs being puches in, my coughing, food being packaged at my table

5- Sound level- very low, there are only a couple people in the resaurant

1- March 1st – 1:24pm – The pasta station in the student center
2- Farthest- People talking in the sitting area, Beeps at the checkout station, numbers of orders being called
3- Medium- Music, the sizzle of pasta being cooked, someone ordering food, beeps of timers, workers restocking food
4- Closest- Me drinking coffee, someone searching through their keys, friends talking, my pasta being handed to me
5- Sound level- loud    Activity- there is a lot going on, lots of movement

  3. Medium: people talking, the tv on, laughing
  4. Closest: me zipping up my jacket and walking through the hall
  5. General sound level: medium
    General sound activity: medium
  6. One word description: usual
  7. 3 important sounds: conversations, the tv, walking across the floor

1- February 1st – 8:00 pm – Next to the Halal Cart on Oak St.
2- Farthest Away- Cars honking on another street, people yelling to each other somewhere on campus, an airplane in the air.
3- Medium Range- People walking in the parking lot of the Netherlands, busses squeaking as they drive by, cars speeding down the street, someone getting into their car and turning it on.
4- Closest- The sound of my breathing, the buzzing of the engine of the halal cart, the man chopping food in the cart, people ordering food at the cart and talking with the man working there.
5- The sounds weren’t too loud. The sounds occurred at pretty random times but the one exception was the buzzing of the halal cart which was constant.
6- Active
7- The buzzing of the halal cart’s engine, cars driving by, talking from different people.
