  1. Location: 2/21/19, 3:45pm, Bits n’ Bytes
  2. Farthest sounds: door opening, wet footsteps, plastic fork/knife dispensers
  3. Medium sounds: chairs scraping against the floor, keys rustling, coats unzipping
  4. Closest sounds: conversation about zodiac signs at the table next to me, crunch of french fries, sounds of videos playing from phones/laptops
  5. Sound level is high, it’s crowded and there are a lot of people taking a break between classes
  6. One word description: lunch
  7. Three essential sounds: fork/knife dispensers, zodiac conversation, and crunch of fries

  2. Farthest: The order form being printed out from the machine
  3. Medium: The sound of people getting up from their chairs
  4. Closest: The chatter bouncing around the student center, laughing, the beep of the order going through the machine
  5. The sound is very busy and bustling since it is lunch and everybody is moving around and getting where they need to be very quickly.
  6. Crowded
  7. 3 essential sounds: The beeping machine as you press the screen, the loud intelligible conversations, peoples backpacks being thrown over their shoulder.
