- Medium: Acapella music coming from my coworker’s laptop, typing, opening drawers

- Description: Lull
- Important sounds: Acapella music on the computer, router running, and music from inside the theatre
1. 2/1/18-5:30-My bedroom
2. A train horn in the distance, a plane overhead, a dog barking, a car passing the house, the wind rustling the branches of trees.
3. My doorbell, my puppies (Hershey and Oreo) barking, the pitter patter of their feet, my sister complaining about high school drama and social drama.
4. My stomach rumbling, my phone vibrating, my foot moving rapidly (ADHD), the crinkle of my sheets on my bed.
5. Very quiet and infrequent, I sat in my room silent for 5 minutes eyes closed and struggled to hear a lot of sound.
6. Tranquil
7. My dogs, the trees, and my sheets crinkling.

4- My coughing. The typing of my laptop. My chair creaking as I shift my position.
5- Very low, and very little.

March 1st, Intramural Fields
Farthest: car door being slammed, screaming
Medium: car driving by, Disc hitting the ground, giggling

February 9th, Gym during practice
Farthest: basketballs bouncing, music playing overhead
Medium: disc hitting the ground, someone jump roping
Closest: Pippin yelling, people talking, someone running above our heads

February 2nd, 10:23 Lounge
Farthest: Pool balls hitting, laughing from another room
Medium: typing on computer, footsteps around corner
Closest: television playing, people talking, someone breathing heavily
Sound Level: Moderate
One word: relaxing
Three essential sounds: faint laughing, television, typing on computer
1- 3.26.15-8:55pm-The Booth Theatre, Manhattan
2- I can hear distant speaking as well as the music from the preshow.
3- I can also hear people sitting in their chairs and getting back up.
4- Tanner is speaking to me and the guy next to me is coughing.

- Couple arguing next to me
- Someone pushing past me to get to the soup
General sound level:
The room is a comfortable volume. Not as loud as it usually is, and not as crowded so it is much more tolerable than usual.

5- Describe the general sound level and amount of sound activity.
It is very quiet here, and relaxing. Not too loud but just enough noise to tell you that everyone here is busy
6- Assign a one word description to the “sound environment”.
