Sounds heard: Light chatter, typing on computers, movement in chairs, people walking, sniffling (from me), hum of air conditioning
This was taken while I was walking back to a house on February 28th. There was a ton of snow on the ground and it had become more solid than soft, creating a nice crunching sound. In addition, you can barely hear a few cars driving by on the street nearby. This was recorded right next to the law school in the parking lot.

- 2. the sounds furthest from me are the cars on the turnpike. my window is open so I can also hear the wind and sometimes a plane overhead
- At medium range I can hear my neighbors in their backyard, they are talking and laughing
- The sounds closest to me are the podcast that I’m listening to quietly on my phone and the sound of my stomach (I think I’m still hungry)
- There is a lot of sound activity but it is all pretty quiet overall
- Calm
- The podcast, the laughter from next-door, and the wind are essential
This was recorded at 7:16 in the Spiegel theater during the Alphie awards – you can hear people presenting on stage as well as the crowd laughing at their jokes!
This was recored at 9:37 in my kitchen, you can hear the sound of my housemates playing music and talking in the other room, the stove being turned on and me moving around the kitchen, opening cabinets, setting things on the counter, and making pasta.

This was recorded shortly after at 5:20 in the ceramic studio office, you can hear my coworker and I talking and laughing and sound of me typing on my laptop, as well as the sound of her walking around the office.

This was recorded this morning at 7:16 AM at Manor Parkway – you can hear me walking down the stairs and sniffling, the creaking of the stairs, then the air-fryer warming up and the sounds of my partner making coffee and then the sound of us exchanging greetings and talking.
