Journal Entry #1

1) February 5th, 2025 – Hammer Lab, 10pm
2) Sounds farthest away: Faint sounds of laughter and talking outside of the axinn library, faint car noises outside
3) Sounds in the medium range: Music coming from beats headphones from the guy that is sitting three computers down from me on my left side, the ID swipe sound to enter in the hammer lab, keyboard typing from other students using the computer, and the printer running
4) The sounds closet to me: My own keyboard typing noise, coughing, music in my air pods
5) The general sound level is extremely low and quiet. The hammer lab is a working and studying space so this level of quiet is normal for this space because students are concentrating. The sound activity is low.
