Location: Downstairs living room of my house

Far Sounds: thudding from upstairs, sounds of cars on the turnpike, wind quietly whooshing outside

Medium Sounds: humming from the washing machine, sounds of plastic streamers ideally rubbing against one another.

Close Sounds: Gordon Ramsey’s master chef on the TV

Sound Description/Level: low level, still, monotonous

One Word: lonely

Most Important Sounds: TV and sounds of the wind quietly whistling outside

Location: in a Threepenny tech run in the playhouse theatre

Farthest: sounds of people walking on the stage, set pieces being adjusted, pages being turned

Medium: accordion noise, people talking in the background, low laughs, 

Closest: sniffle, Weston singing, bag falling on ground

General sound level: lower, hushed, ambient low noises under louder focal ones

Sound environment: peaceful, sedated, focused

Defining sounds: according, singing, low chatter in the background

Sound Description/Level: Low level, fairly quiet and casual

One Word: Gentle

Most Important Sounds: Avery talking on the phone and her friend responding, the rain, and washing machine

Close Sounds: People talking, chairs rolling across the rug, people eating/chewing

Sound Description/Level: Loud, very academic

One Word: Busy

Most Important Sounds: People talking, eating/chewing, doors opening and closing
