Far: door opening at the other end of the car, wind rushing in

Medium: announcements, someone tapping a ring against the window, high-pitched screech of the brakes

Close: people talking next to me, papers falling to the floor

Sound Level: high, sound is everywhere, impossible to block out

One Word: hectic

Farthest: low humming, echoes of talking, keys jangling, phone ringing
Medium: lightweight metal clanking, coins clacking into plastic drawer, blender
Closest: talking, chairs scraping, computer blooping
Sound level: low-medium
Description: refreshed 
Essential sounds: computer blooping, low humming, keys jangling

  2. Farthest sounds: door opening, wet footsteps, plastic fork/knife dispensers
  3. Medium sounds: chairs scraping against the floor, keys rustling, coats unzipping
  4. Closest sounds: conversation about zodiac signs at the table next to me, crunch of french fries, sounds of videos playing from phones/laptops
  5. Sound level is high, it’s crowded and there are a lot of people taking a break between classes
