- Farthest: The sound of pots being placed onto tables in the kitchen, someone walking with their keys hitting against their pants, and the wheels of food carts being pushed around the room.
- Medium range: The sound of many conversations happening before a busy day of classes and many people walking to and from tables and moving the chairs.
- Close: The he crinkling of my food wrapper and the turning pages of a students book while she studies.
- Sound Level: The general sound level is a medium between high and low. The listener can hear multiple sounds happening all at once, so the recording is rather busy.
- Busy.
- People having conversations, chairs scraping against the floor, and the kitchen sounds (pots clanking/ food carts).

1. 2/1/18-5:30-My bedroom
2. A train horn in the distance, a plane overhead, a dog barking, a car passing the house, the wind rustling the branches of trees.
3. My doorbell, my puppies (Hershey and Oreo) barking, the pitter patter of their feet, my sister complaining about high school drama and social drama.
4. My stomach rumbling, my phone vibrating, my foot moving rapidly (ADHD), the crinkle of my sheets on my bed.
5. Very quiet and infrequent, I sat in my room silent for 5 minutes eyes closed and struggled to hear a lot of sound.

1- February 1st – 8:00 pm – Next to the Halal Cart on Oak St.
2- Farthest Away- Cars honking on another street, people yelling to each other somewhere on campus, an airplane in the air.
3- Medium Range- People walking in the parking lot of the Netherlands, busses squeaking as they drive by, cars speeding down the street, someone getting into their car and turning it on.
4- Closest- The sound of my breathing, the buzzing of the engine of the halal cart, the man chopping food in the cart, people ordering food at the cart and talking with the man working there.
5- The sounds weren’t too loud. The sounds occurred at pretty random times but the one exception was the buzzing of the halal cart which was constant.

Location: McEwen 215 - Farthest: cars passing the building, airplane overhead, people walking by the building and talking, shoveling outside maybe? Metal hitting rocks?
- Medium: heating system, computer fans spinning, the guy accross from me breathing intensily, him drinking from a can, the show he’s watching through his headphones.
- Closest: My computer fan going, my own typing, and my phone vibrating.
- General sound level: low. It is very quiet and quaint.
General sound activity: Medium, there are quite a few of quiet sounds, so it’s not incredibly loud, but there is a lot of activity. - One word description: Content.
- 3 important sounds: cars passing by, the TV show through the guys headphones, and my own typing.

- Farthest: Airplane overhead, cars passing by, people talking in the lounge
- Medium range: people walking by outside, people talking outside, tv in the lounge
- Closest: people talking in the other room, doors opening and closing
- The sound was fairly loud, however, it was muffled because all the sounds occurred either in another room or outside. Most of the speaking was muffled, however, the TV and some conversation in the lounge were understandable, including the intro to Ru Paul’s drag race.

- Three sounds I would say would be essential to the environment would be the TV playing, cars passing outside as well as people talking in the lounge, reacting to the TV show
