2. Farthest: equipment motors running, weights dropping, heavy footsteps from runners, music playing through ceiling speakers, people grunting

4. Closest: music from others headphones passing by, heavy breathing
5. the sound level changed frequently without any consistency and sound activity was high.

March 4, 7pm, Adams Playhouse dressing room
1) Farthest sounds: People (Sampson?) yelling orders upstairs from the stage. Sam Kamelhar handling the long chain on the ladder leading to the trapdoor.
2) Medium range: Laughter in the neighboring dressing room. Jean being interviewed for the Chronicle outside the door. The sink running, or a toilet flushing.
3) Dressing room banter. Tom spraying his hair white, and Jordan unzipping/unbuttoning his street clothes to get into costumes. The clanging of the gold jewelry I wear for Richard. Clothes hangers being pushed aside on the rack.
Sound level remains pretty consistent and buzzing. It has the energy of excited people trying to not give over to nerves.
One-word description: Buzzing.
Three sounds: Orders from upstairs, hairspray, handling of clothing
Walking into Stuyvesant Hall
Feet in the snow/water/ice. The hail storm I was walking through, the sound of the doors to my building opening. My card swiping.

2- I can hear people speaking in the drama office and I can also hear the geese on the green outside.
3- People are talking in the psibrary and people are basically shouting in the drounge.
4- The door keeps opening and closing as people enter and exit emily lowe, people are walking up and down the stairs.

7- The talking coming from the drounge and psibrary with the occasional door opening.

2. Farthest: footsteps, trays slamming, wrappers being opened or thrown out, keys jingling
3. Medium: coughing, sniffles, the heater constantly buzzing, chatter, mouths chewing loudly
4. Closest: music student humming, myself coughing, table leg tapping the floor from wobbling
5. the sound level was at a constant medium with a lot of sound activity

3. Medium-shoes clacking on ground, a door opening and shutting
4. Closest-a very loud group screaming, the sound of chewing from my friend, bottle as it hits the table
5. Sounds all mush and blend together to create an obnoxious roar

Sounds: My friend’s voice as she battles another friend in an intense game of air hockey, the sound of the puck hitting the wall of the game, faint music in the background and the undistinguishable sound of other voices.
