- When/Where: February 18th, 2016. 6:55 p.m. Backstage of As You Like It
- Farthest: audience members coming in and chatting, footsteps on stage and risers, Jim’s keys jingling
- Medium: run crew on stage right talking, actors getting into places and warming up their voices
- Closest: Dabney talking on headset, an ASM asking me a question, actors flipping through my script
- Sound level: medium
- One Word: anticipation
- Three Words: chatter, warm-ups, headset
- 2/04/16, 11:30 a.m., Au Bon Pain.
- Farthest: sound of cashier ringing people up, conversations around the seating area, 80’s pop song playing.
- Medium: the conversation of 2 women sitting at the table next to me as well as the tapping of their keys as they type on their laptops, crunching of the food wrappers from the table behind me.
- Closest: the sound of my keys as I type, the ice rattling in my cup as I drink my iced tea.
- Sound level: loud. Every table is full of people having their own conversations and the music volume is quite high.
- One word: Energetic.
- 3 Words: talking, music, crunching.
March 4, 7pm, Adams Playhouse dressing room
1) Farthest sounds: People (Sampson?) yelling orders upstairs from the stage. Sam Kamelhar handling the long chain on the ladder leading to the trapdoor.
2) Medium range: Laughter in the neighboring dressing room. Jean being interviewed for the Chronicle outside the door. The sink running, or a toilet flushing.
3) Dressing room banter. Tom spraying his hair white, and Jordan unzipping/unbuttoning his street clothes to get into costumes. The clanging of the gold jewelry I wear for Richard. Clothes hangers being pushed aside on the rack.
Sound level remains pretty consistent and buzzing. It has the energy of excited people trying to not give over to nerves.
One-word description: Buzzing.
Three sounds: Orders from upstairs, hairspray, handling of clothing

- Walking across tile floors, wheeley chairs moving across floor
- Papers rustling, pencil tapping, clicking of someone texting on thir blackberry

1) 3/1/2012 at 930 PM Newbridge Arena Ice Rink
2) Players coming out of the locker rooms, hockey sticks hitting the ground, players talking
3) Fans walking up to sit in the stands, chatter of fans, hockey skates on ice
4) Pucks loudly hitting the walls, my friends next to me talking, sounds of cheering and clapping
5) The sound level is incredibly high. There is so much energy and loud noises from both the players and the fans since its a playoff game.

7) The puck hitting the wall, fans yelling, buzzer sounding

2- Lots of obnoxious yelling and screaming of male voices
3- Doors opening and closing. A guy is talking on the phone in the hallway
4- The whir of the computer, my suitemates talking and the refrigerator is running, the shower water running.
5- The sound level is extremely loud as quiet have not started yet
6- Rambunctious
