  2. Farthest: car horns from the street, actors voices from the dressing room, the rattle of the AC turning on.
  3. Medium: Actors speaking onstage, the clicking of the light board, audience laughter
  4. Closest: My SM calling cues on the headset, actors asking questions in the other ear, my breathing in the headset mic, my heart pounding
  5. Energetic
  6. Headset chatter, actors voices, audience laughter

Bits n’ Bytes
2/16/2017
10:00 AM

2- The distant chatter of people far away as they converse. The sound of the doors outside opening and closing. The sound of the grills sizzling a little.
3- Nearby people speaking about this and that. Chairs at tables scraping the ground as people stand.
4- Autumn speaking. Autumn eating cereal.
5- Medium, as it was not that loud, but with a little of activity comprising it.
6- Busy
7- Autumn speaking, other people speaking, and the sound of chairs scrapping.

Fun Journal

  2.  Furthest sounds: The strong wind outside blowing through the trees
  3. Medium sounds: Shooting sounds from Call of Duty coming from the tv 10 feet away, Brad is frustrated and talking to himself
  4. Closest sounds: Alex playing music from his laptop and singing along directly into my ear
  5. Loud, a lot of sound activity
  6. Fun
  7. video game sounds, music, singing and talking

Night Kitchen

  1. 2/16/17, 11:18PM, Vander Poel Hall Kitchen
  2. Farthest-Sounds of laughter from a different room. winds outside, The thud of doors closing different sections of the building, dimmed screech of a police siren or ambulance.
  3. Medium-Refrigerators running in vending machines, air conditioner, a buzz from the fluorescent lighting
  4. Closest-Butter sizzling on a heated pan, random clinks from the stove, me biting and chewing toast and scrambled eggs, me typing on the keyboard.
  5. Level and Activity-Low sound level as in it’s very quiet and any sound emitted can be heard throughout the room, but there’s a moderate amount of sound coming preventing total silence.
  6. Solitary
  7. Buzz of vending machines, sizzling butter, Police/ambulance siren.
