- Three essential sounds: phone ringing, printer, keyboard typing
1) 4/29/11-9:00 a.m.-Hammer Computer Lab
2) The printer running, traffic driving by outside, the door opening and closing, the machine beeping when people scan their card to gain entry to the lab, and two students talking near the lab entrance were the furthest audible sounds.
3) Chair near me sliding on the carpet, a student’s phone ringing, other students typing on their keyboards, and keys jingling would qualify as medium range sounds.
4) My mouse clicks and my fingers typing on the keyboard would be considered sounds closest to me.
5) The sound level was fairly quiet. The sound activity was low because not many people were in the computer lab on a Friday morning.
6) Feeble
7) Machine beeping when students swipe into the lab, typing on keyboards, and the printer running.
