Closest: sound machine playing white noise for babies nap, one of the kids being fussy

Location: Monroe Hall theater, Indian music concert for a class
Far Sounds: people whispering around the auditorium, people outside auditorium talking
Medium Sounds: professor talking, band playing on stage, tampura drone
Closest Sounds: my friends whispering next to me, water bottle crinkle
Sound description/level: sound wasn’t too loud or abrasive, the nature of this music is to relax you

Farthest sounds: Tv on downstairs, Nidhi talking on the phone in the room next-door

Sound Level:
When I started my observation I was the only one in the room and was mostly hearing everything upstairs that was very faint and far away and then as it went on more and more people joined in the living room and then we started playing games and it progressively got louder and more lively
