Parking Lot behind the SIC

11:30pm, 03/27,26

Furthest: A house blasting music but only the bass can be heard, people walking to parties shrieking, a mourning dove call, airplanes passing, cars revving past.

Medium: Ambulance sirens as they pull out of the station, fire truck sirens, hushed talking, footsteps

Closest: Car running, breath, mixer beeps

Sound level: Medium level of noise constantly, sometimes gets louder but never quieter.

Description: Rough

Necessary Sounds: Ambulances, cars passing, car engine running, the house playing bass music

2- very light talking

4- Vibrations in the wall next to me, my breathing

5- Low but loud enough to keep me awake

6- Obnoxious

7- TV, Bass Vibrations, Breathing

It was weird, I had earplugs in but some specific frequency sounds could get through

– The music completely, and my breath slightly after a lot of jumping or dancing.

– EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC, some people even wear ear plugs. The sound is so loud it completely envelops you.

6- Assign a one word description to the “sound environment”.

– EXPLOSIVE

7- Select and list 3 sounds which are essential to the sound environment.
