Leaving my dorm for Shakespeare class in the morning. Slightly rainy and windy. Birds chirping.

location:. Outside breslin, in my car

Sounds: my car starting, car running, windows going down, and putting on my seatbelt

Location: Standing outside of Lowe

Sounds: birds chirping, trees rustling in the wind, people shouting,  wind blowing

Location: Walking from my dorm room to the Student Center

Sounds: my footsteps on the stairs, doors opening and closing, a beeping sound coming out of the RSR booth, my footsteps on the ground, wind

LOCATION: Unispan Hofstra 10:19pm

SOUNDS: laughing, male voice, female voice, crinkling of cookie wrapper, metronome, singing

Location: On my way to the student center, one of the Hofstra’s Grounds Crew was using a leafblower near the stu bus stop.

Sounds Heard: As one eavesdrops on the match, it is clear from the noise alone that the howling winds are no match for the vicious raw power that the leafblower roars.

This past week by a tree outside Lowe after class on a really nice day

LOCATION: The kitchen right after our show for BBQ!

SOUNDS: the sizzling of shrimp being fried up tempura style, the bubbling of the fish tank in the adjacent room, footsteps shuffling around, cabinets and drawers being opened and closed.

Location: Jones Beach

Sounds: Waves crashing onto the shore, the wind howling, footsteps, seagulls flying overhead
