Location: At my desk in my dorm bedroom

Farthest Sounds: wind rustling trees and the not very nice fence outside my window, the heater in the other room being ungodly, occasional planes, other residents of the house moving furniture and flushing the toilets

Medium Sounds: My heater blowing air and making occasional but pretty loud cranking noises

Closest Sounds: My desk fan, “Familiarity” by Punch Brothers playing ever so softly, my clock ticking — I hear it just because I know it’s there, the sound is pretty much covered by the heat in my room which can be unforgivably loud compared to the quieter sounds and white noise

Sound Description / Level: mostly white noise — quiet

Important Sounds: the heater cracking, the desk fan running, the furniture moving flushing of toilets by the other house residents

Location: My bedroom

Far sounds: Cars passing on the street, plane overhead, music from cars passing

Medium sounds: My housemates downstairs, someone in the kitchen, the person I share a wall with

Close sounds: My tv, my computer, my fridge, my chair 

General Noise level: Quiet
