General Sound: Hushed, focus

Sound Journal 10: In the studio for a change, just for a change.

1- 9:30 PM in the design studio, Monday April 2, 2012

2- Pedro and Beep using pads pencils, t squares, etc at the far corner of the room.

3- Chairs moving, different music from various peoples headphones, beja and katie’s watercolors.

4- Whirr of my hard drive, Lee typing.

5- There is constant noise, no question, and the T-squares are especially loud when they clang against the table edges.  Despite this, it is relatively quiet for the studio because for once there is little to no conversation, everyone engrossed in their work instead.  (also, no freshmen).  With only two days left to complete all of the major projects, there is no more time for idle conversation.  When the room is still for a few seconds, the scratch of brushes on watercolor is an amazing sound, lost again as soon as somebody or something moves elsewhere in the room.

6- Productive

7- Watercolor brushes in cup, T-Squares against the table, paper rustling and moving around.
