Sounds: walking, feet, shuffling, saying hello to someone

Location and Date: Outside my Oma’s house in Elmont, 6pm, 3/25/18

Important sounds: Lots and lots of birds chirping, opening and closing my car door, footsteps, crunching twigs

  2. Farthest: Sirens, Cars driving by, the street lights buzzing
  3. Medium: people walking behind me, someone walking toward me, a car driving next to me
  4. Closest: my headphones playing music, my breath, my footsteps

    General sound activity: medium
  6. One word description: impatient
  7. 3 important sounds: Sirens, the car driving next to me, and my music playing in my headphones

Location: Outside of Vander Poel hall into the lobby, 2/21/18 around 11:20am

Sounds heard: My sneakers on the damp concrete (my favorite sound here, it was interesting), wind, the card-swipe machine beeping, the front door opening, the turnstile creaking

 

Going over the Unispan – 2/7/18 – 4:00 pm

Sounds: People talking, footsteps

Location: Outside, Netherlands, Hofstra

Sounds: Boots scraping against pavement. Music volume increases as I near the source.

 

Location/Time: walking from Estabrook to the Student Center, 2/7/17 6:30pm

Sounds Heard: wind, me walking on wet pavement, birds, someone singing the words “isn’t she love”

Location: Walking back from the gym

Sounds heard: Water bottle sloshing, foot steps, a stumbled step
