Thursday 4/21. 6:33PM. Dorm room.

Closest: Roommate talking to her boyfriend on the phone, drawers opening and closing, crunching of goldfish (chewing), rifling through goldfish box

Mid: Footsteps, water running, keys jingling, things moving in her bag as she gets ready for work

Far: Door closing in distance, buzzing of magnet keeping the door open

Sound level: Medium

Word: Familiar/homey

3 Sounds: Phone conversation, drawers opening and closing, rifling through box/chewing goldfish (combo sound if you ask me)

  2. Farthest: people from the last class talking outside of the door, people walking down the stairs, vending machine distibuting something
  3. Medium: people on the other side of the classroom turning papers in their notebooks, chit chatting, crunching of a water bottle
  4. Closest: girl next to me starting up her laptop, someone moving the chairs around
  5. Level: quiet
  6. One word: mundane

Closest sounds: Chopped from my laptop, keys clicking on my laptop
