- Sounds Farthest away: People talking as they walk by, the echo of people’s steps over the unispan, the clinking of pans from the student center cafeteria, popular song playing in the cafeteria
- Medium Distance Sounds: Two women speaking in Spanish behind the counter, setting down of milk canisters as people use the coffee station, milk foaming in the cappuccino maker, people talking as they walk by, other students ordering from behind me.
