  2. Farthest: presumably drunk people yelling out in the hall, slamming of trash cans, doors slamming
  3. Medium: My roommate folding her clothes, her phone buzzing every 5 minutes
  4. Closest: Music from my laptop playing My Moon My Man, typing of my keys, my granola bar crunching as I eat it, the wrapper crinkling

Closest: People chatting, multiple sets of footsteps

Mid: Different sets of music, clothing/bags shuffling, greetings from salespeople

Far: Children laughing and yelling, blenders blending (coffee places and smoothie places)

Sound level: Medium (not a busy time of day or shopping day)

One word: Active

  2. Farthest: saw in the shop, bathroom door closing, keys jingling
  3. Medium: door to the green room closing, someone shuffling through papers,
  4. Closest: people talking, hum of the AC, typing, bracelet charms jingling

  2. Farthest: The sound the elevator makes when it stops and opens on this floor, muffled voiced coming from the room across the hall from me
  3. Medium: Voices coming from a group studying in the room next to me
  4. Closest: Music from my computer, laughter from across the room
