Journal Entry
1. 5/3/12, 11: 25AM, Italian Class
2. Kids playing outside, a truck going by on the street, an airplane flying, birds chirping.
3. A bike bell and a bike, doors in the hallway opening and slamming shut.
4. Kids talking in class, the professor lecturing, a book dropping on the floor.
5. The noise activity and sound level are relatively low. While there are many sounds, they are all spread too far out to make a collectively loud noise.
6. Morning.
7. Kids outside, the professor talking, doors in the hallway.

Sounds Heard: Marykate talking, ice being scooped, people ordering coffee and tea, the fancy espresso machine

Location: My bedroom window
Sounds heard: Raindrops falling on my window and the vent outside, a large clap of thunder, more plunking sounds of raindrops, it was very loud for early this morning and woke me up.

May 3rd at 11pm in my friend’s dorm.
They were playing a video game and there is a lot of talking from various people in the background.
Journal Entry
1. May 3rd at 1:50 pm at the Send Silence Packing Event on the quad
2. The sounds that are the furthest from me are people whisper and people walking.
3. The sounds at a medium range to me are people sniffling and birds chirping.
4. The sounds closest to me are two people talking to each other about the event and another person asking if I wanted a flier.
5. It is pretty peaceful at this event because it is her to commemorate the 1,100 students that commit suicide on college campuses every year. So people were respectful at kept the noise level at a minimum
6. Peaceful
7. The birds chirping, the person asking if I wanted a flier, and the sound of people sniffling

– People talking around my table, loud music

– Me chewing thai calimari, the sound of chopsticks falling/clinking/rubbing together in the process of eating the calimari, the sound of my glass placed on the table, my friend talking to me, and the loud music playing Gotye “somebody that I used to know ” (which really makes me feel depressed about my breakup).

-Its a smaller room but I’m sitting in the less crowded eating area… still a loud busy sound level with a combo of talking and music and glasses.
