Journal Entry #2

Location: Pride Den, corner of the room

Farthest sound: light chatter from individuals and small groups, someone singing (opera?)

Medium Sound: People walking in and out of the den, the hum of air conditioning

Closest Sound: Clatter of people typing on keyboards, my breathing, my fidgeting in my seat which makes it squeak a little, tapping of a shoe

Sound Level: Quiet and cozy

Sound Description in 1 Word: Anxious

Essential Sounds: Chatter of people, clatter of keyboards, deep breaths

Field Recording #1

This was taken while I was walking back to a house on February 28th. There was a ton of snow on the ground and it had become more solid than soft, creating a nice crunching sound. In addition, you can barely hear a few cars driving by on the street nearby. This was recorded right next to the law school in the parking lot.
