Far Sounds: People walking around upstairs, doors opening and closing

Medium Sounds: Television shows, microwave beeps, random conversations

Close Sounds: Dice Rolls, cards and board pieces being moved, yelling and general board game conversation

  2. Farthest: footsteps going up and down the staircases and in the hallways
  3. Medium: other students in the common room typing on their computers and watching videos on their computers
  4. Closest: music from my computer while I do my work, scratching on my notebook from my pen
  5. Sound level: medium, not too loud but there are many things going on

Thursday February 23rd at 1:30pm – In the common room of my dorm

The microwave is heard in the background because I was heating up my lunch.  You can also hear the microwave ending because of the beeping sound at the end of the recording.  The television is also in the background.  You can hear a commerical about nutella and a hair product.
