Sounds Heard: Water being turned on, soap dispensing, scrubbing hands, water being turned off, paper towel dispensing, and drying hands.

Farthest Sounds: Rain hitting the ground, residents entering through the turnstile, the RSR talking

Medium Distance Sounds: The sliding door to the outside opening and closing, the door to the RSR booth opening and closing, and the air conditioner.

Closest Sounds: The sound of residents opening their mailbox, the other RA on duty providing residents with their packages, The sound of keys rattling on the wall

General Sound Level: Low

Room Definition: Moving

Essential Sounds: Residents entering the turnstile, the sliding door opening and closing, the door of the RSR booth.

2/27/20 – 7:00am – Long Island Rail Road

Farthest Sounds: The air-locked door between train cars opening and slamming shut, the train moving along the rail, the passenger doors occasionally opening and closing. 

Medium Distance Sounds: There are a bunch of conversations happening in each different row, the train conductor punching tickets as he passes through, and the announcement of then next station

Closest Sounds: The sound of rubber as I move around in the seat, the sound of people talking behind and in front of me, the sound of a child tapping on the window

General Sound Level: Loud

Room Definition: Transportation

Essential Sounds: The train moving along the rail, the train conductor punching tickets, and the announcement of the next station
