  6. One word to describe sound environment: Cozy

1 – April 13th, 9 pm, dorm in Bill of Rights,

2- cars passing by on the highway, wind, window whistling
3- people on the phone in the bathroom, elevator ding, doors opening and closing in hallway
4- mini fridge running, people knocking things in the dorm above me, roommate typing on phone
5- Quiet
6- tranquil
7- mini fridge buzz, loud cars on highway, roommate typing on phone

April 11, 2025 – 10:40 PM – LIRR

Far Sounds – Conductor punching the tickets in the next car over, bathroom door slamming shut

Medium Sounds – The wheels of the train squeaking, the announcment of the next train stop over the PA system

Close Sounds – My dad talking to his friends across the aisle, another train flying past on the opposite track, The girl across from me opening a snack wrapper

Sound Level – Medium

Three Important Sounds – Train track squeak, ticket punching, announcment over the loudspeaker
