Tech Rehearsal for Much Ado About Nothing
2- blowing of the fans in the building, actors on stage.
3-Sound designers talking behind me, flute and piano on the speakers.
4- Bryan and Jean talking, Bryan typing on the light board, somebody tapping their foot
5- Sometimes it’s rather quiet as people speak in low voices, other times Jean and Athena pierce the silence with a sharp cry. The music (when leveled correctly) is not too loud (as the shouts can be) and the actors are (usually) easy enough to understand as they project from the stage.
6- Theatrical
7- Brian tying, Athena and Jean shouting, Flute/Piano coming on and off.

Journal Entry 4
2012-02-24 2:40 AM in the study room in Liberty Hall
– Sit, close eyes and allow the sounds around you to envelope you, listen for all of the sound in your environment.
2- Cars on Oak St, Airplane.
3- Conversations in the lounge outside.
4- There is the sound of the heater as well as some sort of ultra high frequency whine that I cannot place a source for – Perhaps the Fluorescents?
5- There is almost no “activity” yet all of the noises ar very constant. The heater isn’t loud, but its close proximity in the small room makes it the most dominant presence in this soundscape. The unidentifiable whine is not as loud or as sharp as the whine from a television or old computer monitor, but is definitely noticeable, and once you pick up on it, it is hard to not be conscious of it.
6- ringing
7- Unidentifiable whine, heater, Conversations outside.
