- Farthest: Shower running, doors opening/closing, muttering, laughing, the elevator ringing, cars going by, toilets flushing, trash being thrown out

- Closest: The fan blowing, the heater buzzing, my phone notifications

2- Co-workers chatting in the back room, a large truck driving past the store, general main road ambiance from outside.
3- The doorbell ringing as a customer walks in, a co-worker greeting them by the front.
4- The fridge door sliding closed, the humming of the fridge itself, another co-worker talking on the phone at the front desk, a customer’s footsteps, the cash register being opened.
5- Moderate. Mostly quieter, occasionally interrupted by louder, more prevalent sounds.

2- Furthest Sounds: people typing on their keyboard outside the room, speaker muffling, medical cart with wheels squeaking around high pitch
3- Medium Range: heart monitor beeping, walker scraping on the floor, bathroom door slamming
4- Closest Range: Remote clicking buttons, foot kicking the heater (making a low pitch), people laughing loud
5- The general sound level was in the medium range but a little bit on the higher pitch side of sound.

- Thursday the 19th, 6pm, My table at an Italian restaurant
- Furthest sounds are the sizzling pans in the kitchen, the audio of the tvs in the bar, and the maître d’ calling people to their tables
- Medium sounds are the hustle and bustle of the servers, the waiters checking in on the tables around me, the clinking of silverware against people’s plates, but mostly the sounds of many many people around me talking.
- Closest to me is the people at my table talking, the shifting of my creaky chair, and the soft pound of my drink as it hits the table, along with the subtle shake of the ice
- The general sound level is very high, as it is the dinner rush and a lot of people are inside. There is a large amount of different noises around me.
- Chaotic
- 3 essential sounds: Guests around me talking, the clinking of silverware, and the conversations of my own table.

Identifiable Sounds: A door to the far right that creaks when it closes, a smoothie blender blending what sounds like ice, layered conversations, laughter, a woman on the phone having a conversation in Spanish, beep of a scanner, tongs tapping against counter, crinkling of paper as it’s thrown away, typing on a laptop keyboard, footsteps passing by every so often, foosteps upstairs making a low thud, metallic clinking as backpacks are picked up, backpacks zipping closed or open, keys jingling as people step.
