Identify the location:
The kitchen of my friend’s dorm room late at night.

Identify the sounds:
First, you can hear two people talking about how early they have to get up, their voices fade to the background as we walk past them.  You can hear her hit my phone (my recording device) by accident as she passes me to get to the sink.  You can hear her footsteps, then her pouring out her water bottle in the sink.  It ends with her hitting the water bottle on the side of the sink so she gets all the water out of it.

Location: My friend’s Apartment in Brooklyn — Friday, March 7, 2013, 8:15 pm

Sounds Heard: D’ prepares for a date by shaving her legs with an electric razor on the floor of her room.  The razor makes a persistent buzzing sound that syncs up at moments with the Fiona Apple song playing in the background (– perhaps not the best musical choice to amp up before a date…)  At 24 seconds and on in particular, that sound of the razor harmonizes with the song in a very surprising, very cool way.

Location: Houlihan’s (the restaurant) in a booth.

Sounds heard in the clip: Eliza is singing along with the music that is playing: Unwritten by Natasha Beddingfield. I am heard saying “Wait for the break” Stefanie says that we need to “get some harmonies in there” and there is general murmur of people talking in the restaurant underneath. Very fun times.
