Date, Time, Location: 2/21, 9:00am, Enterprise entryway

Sounds farthest away: Wind howling, cars passing, people talking outside

Medium Range: Beep from people swiping their cards, turnstile doors clicking and the groan of them turning, SRS watching a show on laptop

Closest: Hum of water fountain cooling, someone unscrewing waterbottle top, sound of running water, doors slamming from people leaving

General sound level: quiet but somewhat cutting and loud when people let the doors slam behind them

One Word Description: mechanical

3 sounds: Beep of the card system, hum of water fountain, slamming of doors

Farthest Sound: Rumblings coming from the room upstairs, kids jumping and messing around

Medium Sound: People outside my window in the parking lot. Talking about assorted drama.

Closest Sound: Assortment of songs by Trixie Mattel and the rumble of the heater. Also my own voice

Sound Amount: Minimal, most of it coming from my music and myself.

One Word Description: Serenity

Essential Sounds: the music since it wouldn’t have the same energy without it, my voice because singing along adds most of the calmness, the sound of the heater because it balances out the background

  3. Medium: The cold wind passing my ears, puffs of a cigarets, doors opening and closing
  4. Close: Conversations of the people around me, foot steps on the wooden walkway, the vending machines
  5. Sound Level: High, a lot of sound activity due to the amount of people outside (20-30)
  6. One word: Populated
  7. Essential sounds: Vending machine, doors opening and closing, foot steps, people conversating
