2. Cars driving past.  Horns honking.

3. People talking upstairs. Toilet flushing. Footsteps overhead.  Faint sounds of the television. Ian playing guitar. Faint click from the circuit breaker.

4. My stomach growling. Slight wheeze of my breathing.

5. Sound level is rather low.  But the activity is high.  Everything is going on at once but it is very demure.

7. The three sounds that are essential would be the people talking upstairs, the footsteps, and Ian playing his guitar.
