Journal Entry #4

1) Saturday February 18th, 2012 – 10:00 p.m. – Central Park, Wollman Rink

2) Furthest away from me, and loudest, is the music being blasted through giant speakers, and other city sounds (cars, airplanes etc.).

3) At medium range, there are skaters both old and young speaking, and the sound of their skates slicing the ice.

4) Closest are my friends singing whatever song is playing with me, with the scattered gasp from almost slipping, and my own skates gnawing through the rough ice.

5) Everything is at a reasonable sound level, just like any other day outside anywhere, until the music is being brought into consideration, the speakers overpower most everything and our voices are obnoxiously loud (and not harmonious)

6) Active

7) The booming music, the skates on the ice, and everyones voices.
