Far- People laughing and screaming outside, breeze rattling the blinds, doors closing down the hall
Medium- NCIS playing on my TV, HVAC unit hum
Closest- my own breathing, keyboard clicks
Solid amount of noise, steady

2. Farthest: The radiator, wind from the windows, talking upstairs echoing down the halls
3. Medium: Keyboard clicking from friends’ computers, front door opening, footsteps of people approaching
4. Closest: Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 soundtrack playing on Emily’s computer, flipping of pages of the Drama 009 textbook, laughing between Emily and Jess

Farthest: A dorm room opening, dragging footsteps, squeak of the front door, murmurs of conversation

Medium: The fluorescent light buzzing above my head, the HVAC unit behind me blowing out hot air softly

Closest: The machine whirr of the soda machine, my chair squeaking below me every time I move, keyboard clicking.

Sound level: Quiet, everyone else in the room previously has left to go to bed, so I am left listening to the noises of quiet for the first time all day. 

One word: Unwinding
