  1. Setting: Axinn Library, 7th floor.  5:30 pm on February 18th, 2016
  2. Farthest Sounds: cars zooming down the turnpike, the constant drone of airflow through the old ventilation system, muted laughter coming from the study rooms on the other side of the stacks.
  3. Medium Sounds: chairs creaking, heavy breathing, knuckles cracking, zipper opening, change jingling, wrapper crinkling
  4. Closest Sounds: keys typing, paper shuffling, loud swallowing, pencil dropping, stapling, student shifting in chair and her clothes rubbing together
  5. Low sound level
  6. Sound description: distracted
  7. Three Important Sounds: cars zooming, chairs creaking, pencil dropping

  2. Farthest Sounds: Muted voices in the RSR booth on the other side of the wall, Footsteps clunking on the tile in the hall
  3. The walls creak, The clunking of the turnstile
  4. Clock ticking, H-Vac blowing hot air, Phone buzzing in my pocket
  5. Medium amount of sound, there is never a moment of silence, but never an excessive amount of noise
