5/2/2014 Nassau Suffolk common hallway

2. Identify the sounds farthest from you:

> A/C Window unit kicking in
> Metal door opening & closing (laundry room)

3. Identify the sounds at medium range from you:

> Person in RSR booth is on the phone
> A Newspaper fell on the ground thanks to a gust of wind
> Janitor walking by

4. Identify the sounds closest to you:

> Automatic doors opening & closing
> Turnstile being used
> Flip-flops are sticking to my feet

5. Describe the general sound level and amount of sound activity:

It is barren here. I’ve only seen one other student enter/exit the building. The hallway on either side of me is long and empty. There is very little activity being generated, except by the occasional environmental sound effect.

Silence of hallway
