• Heating units somberly humming
• RSR personnel is playing Angry Birds
• Beeping of turnstile system
• Chatter of Maintenance Staff walkie-talkie
• Maintenance guy is singing

4- Identify and list the sounds closest to you (You can include internal sounds if noticed or relevant).
• Cell Phone is ringing (it’s Rita)
• Farts
• Water bottle decompressing

5- Describe the general sound level and amount of sound activity.
It is early morning in a dorm room common area… as to be expected there is very little activity, save for that which is routine, or mechanical. The maintenance man is actually a lovely singer, and we’ve struck up a nice conversation. We are the sound activity.

6- Assign a one word description to the “sound environment”.
