1- DATE-TIME-LOCATION of the sound environment
Thursday, Feb 14 2014. 7:55A. Top level of Student Center.

2- Identify and list the sounds farthest away from you.
• Students in the atrium
• Bookstore Employees preparing for work
• Milk steamer being operated at Café on the Corner

3- Identify and list the sounds at a medium range from you.
• Nikes around the corner of the hallway
• A Pride-Print or Copy machine labors tirelessly in a nearby office
• Wind slashes against the side of the building; windows

4- Identify and list the sounds closest to you (You can include internal sounds if noticed or relevant).
• Very steady, even breathing
• Growling stomache
• Pen scratching against paper
• Wrist is cracking while writing, for some reason

5- Describe the general sound level and amount of sound activity.
The atmosphere is cloistered. The amount of sound activity is low, with every sound seeming not to add to the general noisiness of the room, but seem to attract all the attention towards themselves

6- Assign a one word description to the “sound environment”.
