1) 12:30pm Nissequogue State Park
2) Far in the distance I can hear cars going by occasionally. Either the road is not very busy, or it is far enough away that only a few of the cars can be heard. The wind whips across the water a little ways away, and the waves it is making can be heard. There is construction going on across the river and the equipment emits occasional beeping noises.
3) A plane flies directly overhead. There are sea gulls squawking. The wind rustles the leaves of the trees. People’s feet shift in the snow, making creaky crunchy noises.
4) I can hear the sound of my own breathing and when I shift my weight even slightly the snow groans beneath my feet.
5) The general noise level is low, but there is a large amount of sound activity. There are many quiet noises.
6) Calming
7) Sound of the water lapping, sea gulls and wind.
