Walking across the Intramural Field.

The sounds heard in this recording are a plastic bag with a milk jug inside rustling, a motorcycle off in the distance, and snow compressing under my footsteps.

On February 7th in a practice room during a rehearsal at Monroe Hall…7:15pm

Sounds: Female voices are singing in Hebrew–starts out in unison–then splits into two parts–then into three parts. At one point you can hear a shuffle of a paper.

Sounds: People talking, foot steps, fountain drinks being poured, food being prepared, lids being put on plastic cups, keys jingling.

Sounds heard: Sound of my boyfriend typing a paper on a mechanical keyboard with techno music playing in the background.

The sounds seem to complement each other.

Inside Eatily at Madison Square Park in New York City

General sounds: People moving around through the store/restaurant, eating to my right or visiting the butcher directly across.

04: – Conversation between two men next to me

:17-20 – Clinking of knives behind butcher counter as she cleans them

:25-27 – Hostess counting something out at the bar next to me

:43 – Table setting being picked up by busboy from a table nearby.

:51 – somebody laughs

:53 – A boot heel squeaks on the floor
